The Building Young Men Program is facilitated by Panthers on the Prowl, the community engagement arm of Penrith Panthers NRL club. They work with 16 year old boys in the Nepean region to support a healthy transition from adolescence to adulthood, through a dynamic group mentoring approach. WSU is a research partner in this project.
This is a unique, virtual male mentoring program for all Australian men who need support in the community. The program was devised by Agi O’Hara, registered psychologist with over 25 years clinical experience and a visiting lecturer in psychology for the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Neonatology at the University of Sydney.
