
There is a growing body of research that demonstrates the importance of developing environments within health services that demonstrate a readiness to welcome and engage with males.
Within different contexts, the things that services should do will differ but generally they are about showing men that the service has considered their needs and concerns in how the service is structured.
This guide is applicable particularly for general practitioners and outlines men's approaches to health and some of the reasons why they may not use services that are not 'friendly' to men.
