Musculoskeletal Conditions

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) estimated that around 6.1 million Australians or 28% of the total population suffered from musculoskeletal conditions in 2011-12.

The estimated total cost of arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions in Australia were $55.1 billion in 2012 according to the report A Problem Worth Solving by Arthritis and Osteoporosis Victoria.
